Suzie Wilde, Agent Raised in Ackerly, Texas, Suzie is the oldest daughter of a second generation Cotton Ginner, Dan Brasher. She has worked as a Cotton Gin Office Manager, Cotton Merchant Agent, Cotton Warehouse Clerk, and a Licensed USDA Cotton Classer. Suzie studied Biochemistry at Texas Tech University and Organic Chemistry at the University of Texas El Paso. She also received an Associate of Computer Science Degree from the University of Maryland. Suzie has been in the crop insurance industry since the early 90’s and started her own agency, Oasis Crop Insurance, in 2006. She has one son, Billy Dan Langley, who is a partner in the agency and one grandson, Cotton Dan Langley. Suzie is an avid scuba diver and amateur underwater photographer, loves to quilt and scrapbook, enjoys football, NASCAR and rodeo, and is an avid West Texas deer hunter. |

Billy Dan Langley, Agent Billy has been working as an agent at Oasis Crop Insurance since February of 2015, but has been around farming and the crop insurance business for most of his whole life. Working in the family business and with farmers is a point of pride for Billy, who comes from a family of cotton farmers and ginners. In 2014 he and his wife Gigi welcomed their first son Cotton to the family. Before working at Oasis Crop Insurance, Billy was a music instructor and professional musician in Southern Illinois. He still enjoys playing music with local bands, and recently won the 2017 International Blues Competition in San Angelo. |

Jennifer “Schmiede” Schmiedekamp, Office Manager Jennifer was born & raised in San Antonio, TX. She joined the Oasis Crop Insurance family October 2014 as our Office Manager. Previously she spent 12 years as the librarian at Holiman Elementary, San Angelo ISD. She is married to Corey Schmiedekamp, the Facilities Maintenance Coordinator at Ethicon, Inc. in San Angelo, Texas. Jennifer has two beautiful children. Her daughter, Sherry, is a Human Resource Representative, that will graduate in the spring with her Masters in HR Management. Jennifer’s son, Brodie, is attending the University of Texas in San Antonio. He is in pursuit of a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology. She takes great pride in being a Native Texan and loves everything about Texas, especially football & helping those Texas farmers. |
