|Suzie Wilde, Agent
Raised in Ackerly, Texas, Suzie is the oldest daughter of a second generation Cotton Ginner, Dan Brasher. She has worked as a Cotton Gin Office Manager, Cotton Merchant Agent, Cotton Warehouse Clerk, and a Licensed USDA Cotton Classer. Suzie studied Biochemistry at Texas Tech University and Organic Chemistry at the University of Texas El Paso and has an Associate of Computer Science Degree from the University of Maryland. She has been a crop insurance agent for over 20 years and opened her own agency, Oasis Crop Insurance, in 2006. She is married to Daniel and has one son, Billy Dan and one grandson, Cotton Dan, along with Daniel’s two daughters, two sons, and 9 grandchildren. Suzie is an avid scuba diver and amateur underwater photographer, loves to quilt and scrapbook, and enjoys football and NASCAR.
||Billy Dan Langley, Agent
Billy has been working as an agent at Oasis Crop Insurance since February of 2015, but has been around farming and the crop insurance business for most of his whole life. Working in the family business and with farmers is a point of pride for Billy, who comes from a family of cotton farmers and ginners. In 2014 he and his wife Gigi welcomed their first son Cotton to the family. Before working at Oasis Crop Insurance, Billy was a music instructor and professional musician in Southern Illinois. He still enjoys playing music with local bands, and recently won the 2017 International Blues Competition in San Angelo.
||Daniel Wilde, Agent
Daniel was raised in Wall, Texas then moved to Rowena where he has been a cotton farmer for over 45 years. He was a crop insurance agent during the late 80’s, and again with Oasis Crop Insurance since 2008. Daniel is very active in farm organizations, working for agriculture and especially for the cotton industry. He is married to Suzie and has four children and nine grandchildren along with Suzie’s son and grandson. He is the number one fan of his grandkid’s sports, says his favorite thing to do is harvest cotton and enjoys football and NASCAR.
||Jennifer “Schmiede” Schmiedekamp, Office Manager
Jennifer joined the Oasis Crop Insurance family October 27, 2014 as our Office Manager. Previously she spent 12 years as the librarian at Holiman Elementary, San Angelo ISD. She is married to Corey Schmiedekamp, the Maintenance Planner at Ethicon, Inc. in San Angelo, Texas. Jennifer has two beautiful children a daughter, Sherry, who is a teacher and a son, Brodie, who is attending the University of Texas in San Antonio in pursuit of a Cyber Security degree. She takes great pride in being a Native Texan and loves everything about Texas, especially those Texas farmers.
